Obtaining Florida Professional Educator Certification

CSF assists teachers seeking professional educator certification.

Christian Schools of Florida supports member schools by assisting teachers seeking Temporary and Professional Certification from the Florida Department of Education. CSF is recognized by the Florida DOE as a school district, including a Professional Education Competency program.

Once logged in here at the CSF web site, staff at CSF member schools can access Procedures for Professional Educator Certification, which helps teachers and administrators to:

  • Apply through the FDOE
  • Obtain a Statement of Eligibility
  • Begin the process of Temporary Certification with Background Screening and Employment Verification
  • Proceed to Professional Certification
  • Obtain alternative Professional Education Competency through a PEC Program with documentation of a Portfolio of 17 competencies.
